плавают лепестки роз, в воздухе ароматы цветочных масел. Вонбеом погружается в воду еще больше, держась за край ванны локтями. На нём белые штаны и белая роба на плечах, в остальном больше ничего. Хотя не понятно зачем принимать ванну в одежде. На острове Гангхва не было аромо-ванн, было только море, и никто не стеснялся мыться голышом в какой-нибудь тихой бухте. Во дворце же царили приличия, но это небольшая плата за столь приятные водные процедуры.
Вонбеом закрывает глаза от удовольствия, чувствуя, как напряженные мышцы расслабляются. Он чувствует прикосновение на плечах, а затем ладони незнакомки скользят вниз к его груди и затем к торсу. Он открывает глаза и поворачивает голову.
«Ваше Величество, как Вам вода?» нежно спрашивает Сойонг.
«Что?» Только и может промямлить в ответ Вонбеом. Что она тут делает? Он высвобождается от её рук, перемещаясь в середину его круглой ванны.
«Ваше Величество, Вам нравится?» Вонбеом оборачивается и видит ещё одну Сойонг, в белом полупрозрачном платье, полу боком сидящую на краю ванной. Её тонкие пальцы медленно распускают косу, лежащую на её плече.
«Что происходит?» Спрашивает Вонбеом в удивлении.
«Может добавить горячей воды?» Говорит третья Сойонг, выливая ведро теплой воды прямо подле него.
В центре ванной, Вонбеом поворачивается озадаченный происходящим, переводя взгляд с одной Сойонг на другую. Одна всё еще облокачивается на край ванны и посылает ему воздушный поцелуй, как только он на неё смотрит. Вторая распускает косу, мило улыбаясь. Третья ухмыляется бесстыже его рассматривая. Вонбеом невольно прикрывается, от ее взгляда.
«Это не по-настоящему…» Бормочет он. «Просто сон…»
Он зажмуривается, бормоча себе под нос, что ему надо проснутся и всё закончится. Когда он открывает глаза снова, вокруг него пусто, все Сойонг исчезли. Облегчённо вздохнув, он движется к краю ванны.
«Ваше Величество…» Он снова слышит её голос позади себя. Медленно Вонбеом поворачивается, прижимаясь спиной к краю ванны. В этот раз Сойонг находится в центре ванной, по плечи в воде. И он знает, что будет дальше… Она медленно начинается подниматься на ноги. Ему бы следовало отвернутся или снова закрыть глаза, но Вонбеом этого не делает. Вместо этого, он с благоговением смотрит на то как вода стекает по её телу и мокрое белое платье становится полностью прозрачным.
«Ваше Величество… Что Вы хотите, чтобы я сделала?»
Вонбеом поднимает свой взгляд чтобы посмотреть в её глаза и даёт ей свой ответ…
Вонбеом открывает глаза, просыпаясь от странного сна в своей кровати. Королева снится ему не впервые, но раньше все его сны были невинными. Однажды ему приснилась как она убегает от него в бамбуковом лесу, он пытался её догнать, но она ускользала всё дальше и дальше. Он лишь слышал её задорный смех. Иногда она внезапно появлялась во снах с участием Хва Джин, с глазами полными слёз, наблюдающей как он дарит цветы другой. И он честно не возражал видеть Ким Сойонг в своих снах периодически. Это всё ещё лучше его ночных кошмаров.
Но этот сон был другим. Этот сон делает всё слишком сложным. Он знает насколько ситуация с Сойонг изменилась. Насколько изменился он сам по отношению к ней. Но в какой момент его симпатия переросла в столь сильное вожделение? Он чуть было не поцеловал её и теперь ему снятся такие сны?
Ему не нужно смотреть вниз, чтобы увидеть насколько возбуждающим оказался этот сон. Он тяжело вдыхает воздух через нос и думает, что это конец. Вонбеом не может отрицать этого более, если даже его подсознание рисует такие картины. Он сопротивлялся как мог. Он был жесток, он был безразличен. Он сожалел и чувствовал вину. Как это всё смогло перерасти в романтическую привязанность? Ей в конце концов это удалось, окончательно и бесповоротно завладеть его сердцем, душой и, как очевидно, телом. Вонбеом принадлежит Ким Сойонг.
А Сойонг… сможет ли она когда-нибудь принадлежать ему?

AAAAAH LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS CHAPTER!!! That last paragraph is just 😍😍😍! Finally admitting that he is wholly irrevocably in love with SY! His whole mind body and soul!
Obvi not expecting SY to take him back quickly! Some more trust on her part and groveling from him would be needed! And also the path to forgiveness would obvi be hard and long. Would there be a part where CJ would understand the extent of his shitty behavior to SY and how his love was HJ was never actually love, just a misunderstanding of the feelings he got from her “saving” him from the well? Which is never true to begin with
Also omg what if once CJ and SY confess their love to each other and are finally happily together, YP and HJ work together to kill SY which ended up with SY getting really really injured/ill? Obvi HJ would be more dangerous since CJ no longer loves her, and YP is just a stubborn mule who is bent on revenge and HJ could easily manipulate YP to do her bidding

There is no way back for CJ and I really dislike how on the show he kinda ignores HJ instead of telling her everything. HJ is still a witch but I think she deserves better treatment in that part.
HJ and YP are very dangerous and they will create some drama for our royal couple and tears will be shed for sure. But happy days are coming too <3

This is one of my favorite chapters ~ ❤️ I’ve already read it 5 times 🤣
I really loved this line as it greatly summarized CJ’s inner conflict : “Indeed, why did he want to kiss Soyong so much? He's probably out of his mind. Jo Hwa Jin, the woman to whom he promised his heart. So why does it beat treacherously faster at the sight of the Queen?”
CJ is really a fool in terms of deciphering a woman’s heart. It’s just right that SY won’t easily give her heart to a man that did various things to dismiss her and made her feel worthless. It will be difficult for SY to know if his “romantic” intentions are real or its just part of his scheme. The least she can give him first is friendship/ camaraderie..
After all those shitty things CJ did to SY, I felt it is just for him to put great effort to make amends with her. I hope to see more jelly CJ seeing SY interact with Byeong In or Yoon Min Joon, I think this will make CJ realize how jerk he was to SY which made her so distant to him.
I can just imagine how CJ overthinks on the best ways to gain her love, but SY just take his efforts lightly and dismiss his feelings. 🤣
Btw.. I really loved the ending of CJ having those kind of lusty dreams. It is really fun to read his POV when it comes to his feelings to SY. I think he still needs to seek more love advice with Director Hong haha

WAIT. HOLD UP. SY squeezing his clothes when they were about to kiss — AWW. Even CJ questioned their intimacy and SY managed to shove him away. So cuteeee, the two of them. Though CJ deserved it, and loved every word of Director Hong’s advice.
But now I am curious about what happens to YP now that he actually hurt BI and especially SY. Though I am happy to see the transition of CJ protecting SY. Now are we going to see BI vs YP bare chest push-ups? 🤭🕵️♀️
Not me looking into the comments for any spoilers about how CJ solved his end-chapter problems and I am just glad I am not the only one who wanted to know! 🤣🤣🤣
